As a result of this situation, all user data and communication between the users is subject to inspection by the service provider.<br /> To provide better user privacy, researchers have recently suggested distributed social networks with a wide range of implementations, which however bring along their own drawbacks.<br /> <br /> In this work, the goal is to implement a novel approach to distributed social networking (Master thesis phase). Before starting the implemenation, as a first step (student project phase), a feasibility study is to be completed.<br /> <br /> Very good implementation skills (advanced knowledge of JAVA and/or Python is required) are required for this project.</div>
