|'''Incentive Mechanism Design for Mobile Crowdsensing'''
Smartphones are now equipped with a set of powerful embedded sensors, such as accelerometer, digital compass, GPS, microphone, and camera. “Crowdsensing” leverages millions of personal smartphones to collect and analyze sensed data far beyond the scale of what was possible before, without the need to deploy thousands of static sensors. To embrace such a profound benefit, a proper incentive-based mechanism design would be the key, since when smartphone users participate in a crowdsensing task, they consume their own resources such as battery and computing power. In this topic, we aim to get a holistic picture of the state-of-art research literature, identify the key challenges, and develop sound technical solutions.
