Open SDN Testbed: Realize the SDN testbed and automation of network topologies using the EU GEANT Testbed services

Project Work: Leverage GEANT testbed for SDN [1].

- First understand the testbed capabilities:
  a) Testbed provides several geo located SDN switches supporting open flow 1.3. 
  b) allow to have virtual slice of Openflow swithces on top of the HP OpenFlow switches. 
  c) Additionally provides  the capability to instantiate isolated VM's and 
  d) have a provision to run our own controller software. 
 
- Build small custom topologies using the tools provided by GTS and  
- Build the test scripts to: 
   - automate the process of creating the topologies and 
   - validate Openflow controller and switch functionalities.
