Course Overview

The purpose of this seminar is to discuss some advanced concepts in computer networking. The material in the seminar, drawn mainly from the research literature, will be presented in a bottom-up fashion. This is followed by discussions of more advanced topics in Internet Geometry, Peer-to-Peer networking, online social networking and Delay Tolerant Networking. The objective of the seminar is to help students build on their networking knowledge and keep them up to date with the new technologies in the ever changing and dynamic world of computer networking.
