You may want to organize a party on weekends, but you do not want to call every friend of yours. This mobile social application helps you broadcast this party event to anyone you want to invite via WiFi/Bluetooth/SMS. The people who receive the message can confirm if they will come to the party or not. It also share information (i.e., pictures, music) within a group that owns same interest. People may also want to search a piece of information or a contact from a group of people, after providing enough information, the message can broadcast to a certain group of people. People who has the piece of information or the contact can send back to you.

The current prototype supports microblogging and broadcasting. In this project, you needs to complete the following functions:

1. Add WiFi function to Goose

The current Goose can only use Bluetooth and SMS for message transmission. As the first part of the project, we want to extend the Goose to support WiFi as well.

2. File transmission and contact import

Develop the Goose to make it support file transmission, including pictures, mp3 music files and etc. You also need to expand Goose to import contact information from his phone's contact list.

3. Add group function to Goose

Make Goose support group function, which means a Goose user can organize a group and all group members can share information within the group.

Requirements:

1. Profficiency with Java programming

2. Must attend the weekly meeting, which may happens in the afternoon or weekends. We can negotiate the meeting time later.
